To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

bilateralrope Desert Nomad Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: New Zealand Guild: Xen Of Onslaught (Xen of the Pacific division)	Some tweaks to trade in party search Currently whenever you change districts or towns with a message in the party search then you lose that message. This is a good thing for LFG and GLF messages, but for trade messages I can see some problems for it. So I propose the following changes for messages in the trade section of the party search window: - If you leave a town then your trade message will remain there for some time. I'm thinking about 10 minutes, but the exact duration is up to ANET. - Whenever you change districts your message is not removed from the party search, just update it to reflect your current district. Actually, this should probably apply to all messages there. - If you map to a different town then your message will be automatically placed in the new towns party search. I'm not sure if the announcement in chat should be made or not though. With these changes instead of having to spend a few minutes in each town you can just put your message into party search then map around and quickly spread your advertisement to people who you would of otherwise of missed.
